Healthscreen has adopted a set of information management guidelines that help establish the basis for our relationship with our subscribers, visitors, customers, and everyone interested in the magazine. These guidelines have been developed considering that internet technologies are rapidly evolving and underlying business models remain. Concurrently, these guidelines are subject to change. We understand that user information should be handled correctly and with clear transparency with the user.

Personal information

Information submitted through subscriptions and feedback on the Healthscreen website is stored in a database. Specifically, we store names, e-mail addresses, contact numbers, and demographic information, such as addresses and occupations, of the website visitors who wish to receive free access to Healthscreen magazine. We also use such information to send out occasional promotional materials, including alerts on new publications available.

As a proactive organization deeply involved in disseminating research in the diagnostics industry, such information is crucial as it helps us sustain our advocacy efforts. Subscription

The subscription is free of cost.

Registered email IDs policies

We use e-mail addresses provided by you while subscribing to Healthscreen magazine. We further construct mailing lists based on e-mail addresses and use them for regular and monthly promotional emails. We may contact users regarding account status, and changes to the subscriber agreement, confirm registration via email, and send promotional materials. The email addresses provided by you for accessing Healthscreen will not be used for any other purpose without their consent under any circumstances. We do not sell, rent or share our mailing list.

Data security

Your account is protected by an encrypted password. We keep it secure, and you must also keep it safe. Our employees may not access your account unless required to do a specific job.

Corrections and cancellation of subscription

Upon request, we will immediately 1) remove user information from our database thereby canceling your registration, 2) rectify personal information that a user claims to be erroneous, or 3) permit you to opt-out of further email contact, while still allowing access to the site. To request a correction or cancellation, please email us at healthscreen@thyrocare.com with ‘unsubscribe’ in the subject.

Legal processes / compelled disclosure

If we are required by law to disclose any information provided by you, we will try our best to give you a notice (unless we are prohibited) and present an opportunity for you to object. We will send you this notice by email provided to us by you. If we do not receive a reply, we will supply this information, which we are bound to do so by law.

Reservation

Healthscreen reserves the right to change its policy at any time for addressing any new issues and reflecting changes on our website. By using these services, after we have posted the changes on the website, you indicate your acceptance of those changes.
